I'm not the person you're replying to, I'm an animation student. Ebola chan IS really well designed. I think the actual concept is disgusting and I judge people really hard who hop on this bandwagon but her actual design? No, it's good. It's really good. It's cute, easily recognizable and reflects tons on her concept, all while being so simplistic anyone could draw and remember it. If you saw her silhouette you'd know exactly who she was, which is super important in designing a character and something that every character designer strives to achieve. Just because you dislike it doesn't mean it's a terrible design. Your opinion as "fact" is completely wrong.

I think the idea and design is neat.

People and media really need to let loose and not be so anal about Ebola. The stupidity I get to hear about it almost on a daily basis is getting out of hand. People talking about shutting down the city or state because they fly in someone with ebola into our city, Atlanta. It's too top-heavy, deviating attention away for the iconic part of her character: those drippy fluorescent ebola strands. A superior example of a bad concept but good design is the SS uniform.
