But honestly, like so many people are saying, this story makes NO SENSE. If you are a thief, especially in a neighborhood like Oakland, you go for things that are obviously high-value and EASILY RESELLABLE. Fucking cosplay shit? Most thieves wouldn't even know what to do with it. And if you think they didn't even look in the bag and just took it, maybe, but then they would have tossed it later and SOMEONE would have found it. For the amount of shit she had in there this has to have been a BIG bag and would have hindered their escape. They likely would have dumped it nearby when they realized it wasn't worth anything in terms of resale. The "homeless man" who found some of the pieces (and HOW THE HELL DOES A HOMELESS GUY HAVE ACCESS TO FACEBOOK? How did he know who or what to look for?) would have likely found ALL of it in the same area or very close by.

Why were her prescription contacts and glasses in the bag with the cosplay stuff she was intending to SHIP? Those are kind of things that you need to have ON YOUR PERSON. And if they weren't in the alleged bag but just in the car, nobody would have taken them. They are absolutely no good to anyone who isn't Jackie. If she filed an insurance claim like she says she did, then she doesn't have to pay for the damage to her car, so that part is bullshit too.

But honestly, the biggest hole in her story is that a smash-and-grab thief wouldn't have taken something as huge and heavy as this bag must have been unless they knew it had a high-value, easily resellable item (thieves usually go for cash, jewelry, car stereos, or electronics) in it. I find it interesting that right before her stuff got stolen, she sent add requests to tons of people on fb. I got one. I didn't even know she knew I existed. I've never met her, but we have mutual friends, and aside from taking a picture of her at a con that I posted on another's fan page a year or two before, there's no way she would have known who I was. I worry that I sell myself short all the time because so many people boast this shit that they are a real model or an actress. In the past I used to tune that out as being self important but now that everyone seems to do it when I don't give myself airs it makes people just think I'm not as talented as them.

I'm also a decent photographer and a fuckwin editor. But I'm not full of myself to tell everyone I meet that. They'll figure it out as they talk to me.
