But my mood is really bound with expression myself with my clothings, I use to have anxietiy attack when I couldn't dress the way I want as a late teenager/young adult. Where I live, there is a huge deficit of dogs. At any one time our pound usually has between 2-4 dogs- usually large black dogs, labs, pits, etc.

Rescues in this area charge us up to $1,000 for a dog. Recently a 12 year old blind dachshund was taken into the pound, by time she was up for adoption they had almost 300 inquiries to adopt her. Getting a dog was one of the hardest things I've ever done around here. One rescue I applied for required a 6-page essay. We found a dog taken into the pound that we really wanted, and waited until its adoption day. Visited him in advanced, got along great with the family. Went up for adoption on a Wednesday. Couldn't get there until noon because work. Asked the pound- no holds. By time we got there at noon had had been gone for hours. Later, on craigslist, I found a picture of the same dog taken at our local pound with a story about how he was 'rescued from death' and 'nursed back to health for months' and how she only wanted a mere $500 to adopt him out to compensate her for her time. Our pound adoption fees are $10. Being that he was posted within hours of being adopted, I doubt he even went for a check up.

I see people mistreating animals all the time, and it really breaks my heart. My parents made me learn how to take care of a HAMSTER before they let me get one, and I took care of that hamster so well. But I see these dumb bitches who can't figure out how to handle something that simple as an adult, when I was doing it when I was fucking 12. I hate it. Goldfish produce so much fucking waste and they get so fucking big, they're not suited for small bodies of water at any point in their life. Even with a filter, there's no way a couple of gallons of water will be able to stay biologically sound with that much ammonia going in to it and the amount of water changes required to keep that fish alive (sterile water =/= healthy, livable water!!). Even when they're small, goldfish do better in 20+ gallons of water and when they're fully grown you don't wanna have more than 1 or two in a 50 gallon like >>7452464 has. When I get fair fish, I assume they have ick immediately because they usually do. The water treatments are cheap, so I just treat them before adding them to the main tank.

Also make sure you have either live aquatic plants or a bubbler in the tank or bowl to oxygenate, and a filter, or make sure to swap out ~1/3 of the water for fresh distilled water weekly to keep the ammonia levels down.

And of course make sure to let the new fish acclimate to the water temperature rather than just dumping them in. Let the bag float in the tank for an hour or two, THEN add the fish, trying not to dump their poop in with them.

And remember not to crowd the fishy. Putting a too-big fish in a too-small tank could cause issues.

I understand what it is. We got the catfish at the same time as the water treatments, because it was suggested to us that they could help clear it up (as I said, that was more than 6 years ago, and petco's fault. Since I've learned to take better care, and we haven't had any ick in >3 years.)

We have a carbon filter to remove the ammonia and we clean out the tank and replace ~10 gallons every other week to keep it clean.

We also now have snails to keep the algae from growing as well.

1. Cows don't have to be pregnant all the time to give milk. They have to get pregnant only once/twice per a few years - you just have to milk her constantly, so that lactation doesn't stop. It works the same for most mammals, humans included. I've heard of a woman who was lactating for about 6 years, since she belived she has to feed her child with her milk all that time.

2. Actually, if humans didn't take care of cows, most of calves would die crushed by their own mother or due to hunger - cows don't have particularly strong parental instincts and tend to forget about their children

3. The hormones you are talking about are not linked with milking, but with creating tastier meat and making cows fatter and bigger. They do interfere with the milk, but the milk itself isn't the cause of feeding cows additional hormones.
