I live in a very tropical city where it is always hot and humid. I love velvet (in and out of lolita) and own a 2004 thick velvet op from Meta and it is one of my favourite pieces but I never get to wear it.

I wouldn't recommend that dress. It looked very lovely, so my gf ordered it a couple months back. It's the only lolita dress we've bought from taobao that we've been disappointed with so far. The material is thin and gross feeling, and the measurments were way off. It sucks because it seemed like a legit store.

Not that anon, but I got a dress from them and paid for custom measurements, and they sent something way bigger than what was ordered. Not only that, they didn't make the skirt length longer even though I paid extra for that specifically. I've used the same measurement list for three other dresses from other shops, and they fit perfectly.

Ugh. I hate it that it's so damn difficult to find summerish gothic coords. It's like fresh outfits are eithers florals, country or sailor.

I used the same SS and the same measurement list for all of the dresses. Two were in the same order too, so it seems unlikely the SS translated the same thing differently for each shop? I'm left to assume that Rose Melody just cocked it up. Too bad 'cause I like the way their stuff looks on their site. I might take the dress we got to a tailor to see if it could be fixed.

That sounds fucking wonderful. I love warm weather. I live in southern California and the 65~ degree F temperature is making me incredibly uncomfortable. I love when it gets up to the high 80s in summertime. But I like dry heat. Humidity sucks.
