nice, I made the ump prop I mentioned out of mdf and took it to carnaval, a lot of the more fragile parts I made broke. I mostly use my airsoft one now, the red paint is required by law here.

thanks, Im looking into a snake cosplay too, might settle for smt simple and a cardboard box tho. Usually my coasplays only catch the attention of ppl who recognise them, mainly other guys, except female ones where its more mixed and usually doesnt rely on people recognising the character as much.

nah, I only crossplayed gfl and touhou bc its mostly females, I could cosplay yegor or one of the machine type enemies or smt tho. If I cosplayed someone from the metal gear franchise it would prob be snake, ocelot or someone from mgr

jager from siege and a monolith soldier from stalker. All others were more akin to halloween costumes than actual cosplays. I technically "cosplayed" sans once bc I was feeling lazy, a blue jacket, black shorts and some slippers I got a the dollar store.

most ppl cosplaying at the events I go to just pick up some random genshin cosplay online. I started cosplaying bc of carnaval (Portuguese party in some cities where ppl dress up either in whatever they want or some sort of satire fit) and get drunk asf, how I broke my ump prop. The cosplaying at cons is somewhat secondary.

Yep, ppl dress up in all sorts of dumb stuff and go party in the streets very late at night, sometimes even smoking weed in public even though its illegal here. The whole motto is "Carnaval ninguem leva a mal" (sort of means people are chill at carnaval). Its also tradition for guys to crossdress very unconvincingly, as a cosplayer I was dared to crossplay there and here I am.
