It could be some people not taking measurements correctly. But if that's your actual measurement, then yes it's big. Because you're underbust is supposed to be within a few inches similar to your waist, so for most people that would mean your waist is 30 inches. For people with larger bone structures who aren't fat, they'll be within about 5 inches. 30in waist is fine if you're around 6'

When you reference 28,32,34 etc are you anons referring to the band size aka the underbust/ribcage measurement? I wear a 32E/F and my ribcage is 31 and bust is 37. I used to wear the wrong band size, 34 and it would ride up constantly.

It's hard to tell what everyone is referencing because some people say 32A and they mean the bra size they wear and some people refer to that as 32 bust measurement, A cup bra.

For online sources - Asos (I'm based in Australia), and aimerfeel/tutuanna. That being said, I have had the luxury of going to Japan and trying the latter two brands and basically buying 7 matching underwear sets from each store for <2000yen per set. A 30/65 band is standard for those brands and their 70 band tends to run a bit smaller. The Japanese brands also have smaller cup sizing - I usually wear a 30B/C (8B/C) in Western brands that go down to that size, but wear a 65C/D from Japanese brands. My ribcage is 27.5"/bust 31.5". I find the spacing on 28 bands a bit weird as sometimes they're marketed as "starter" bras for tweens who have teeny breast buds right by their nipple and no actual boob tissue, you have to find a brand that is targeted to adults for a decent 28 band bra.

Nah, I still care, but the market certainly feels oversaturated. There's multiple brands putting out chocolate releases now so it's more like choosing the best release of the year instead of snapping up anything chocolate you can find. I would love another chocolate jacquard again this year though.

For Melty Chocolate it might just be the age as well. It's a cotton dress, so by now a lot of the dresses being traded second/third/fourth hand have probably been worn and washed enough that they're mostly a little faded and don't look as good as they did ten years ago.

I think they did their best low waist cuts with the Mercator print, but even then I watched the low waist sell out excruciating slowly, and when they re-released it the low waist jsk was so unpopular it went on sale. From what I heard their main market are the Japanese and Chinese, ie-mainly short girls (which explains why Dolly Cat's low-waist cut ended up so weird-looking, it's trying to make a low-waisted jsk that short girls can wear).

(the two jsks on the right are both low-waisted. The lavender jsk in the middle is just-waist and the OP is high-waisted).

They probably put their best effort into Victorian Letter and Mercator, I don't think they really bothered trying too hard when it doesn't sell as well as other cuts.

I like Meta's Teddy Bear Baker, Doki Doki Strawberry Magic (A lot of people hate the lace pattern on it though and say it looks like a petri dish, or maybe it's just one anon here), the new BABY Strawberry Chocolate one, Most of the chocolate jacquard AP prints, Little Bear's Cafe though it's more just sweets than chocolate, at least 2 or 3 of the colorways have brown which coupled with donuts has a chocolate vibe, BABY's Kumya-Chan's Sweet Chocolate print, Melt-Chocolapin (though it's probably very rare by now). I don't hate melty Chocolate at all and still own it. I just like how the others I mentioned look and can be coorded. I think MC and other chocolate prints with gold accents though have the benefit of being able to be coorded in a mature fun way with the gold so I appreciate that a lot as well.

I like the details of this like these chocolates buttons, the heart cake motif (probably as an excuse to get the hat I won't dare to wear out heh), the structure of the bodice. At another hand this print overall looks a bit outdated. I can ballpark it with Rose Toilette - not only it looked really pretty, it was really fresh, even surprising for its time. Now imo it looks just too simple as you went through the number of prints with a much more elaborate design, lots of tiny details and easter eggs all over.

I wear my printed pieces way more often - I think the main reason I haven't sold more of my solids is because they don't go for that much 2nd hand. I bought a lot of them straight from the brands, so it just seems more worth it in my mind to keep them even if I don't wear them that often than sell them for under $150 or even under $100. I've only sold the ones I decided I patently disliked or things that were ill fitting due to weirdly tentish measurements that I didn't pay attention to when purchasing.

4-5 solid vs 36 print, and of the solid ones one is a coat dress so I usually wear it over another piece. One is polka-dot so not sure whether that counts as solid. I think the split is so drastic because for my simpler pieces I prefer all-over floral prints rather than solids.

Nice way to say you have no idea about fabrics because cotton is not a fabric type but the material it's made of, so cotton can be a bunch of different things. Rose Toilette is also 100% cotton and it has a completely different texture than most AP releases. Same for Little Bear's Cafe. Cotton velveteen is a thing and it's relatively affordable, too, and most of AP's velveteen releases are in fact made of cotton velveteen (Ribbon Decoration JSK for example). There is a big backlog regarding UK VAT registration but I was of the understanding that businesses could still account for the VAT as normal and then pay it to HMRC once the registration was complete.
