Just because these specific ones are sold on Taobao for cheap jewelry doesn't mean they don't theoretically fit wa lolita. It just means they'll look generic. You know how much cheap shit is sold for making jewelry in Japan? Do you know how much cheap shit Japanese vendors import from China for the Japanese market? Go to a cheap shit store in Japan and check for where the cheap shit was made, you'll be surprised. Sure, you can use them for hanfu jewelry. You can also use them in wa lolita. The motif is pretty universal.

My main problem is that the dress itself doesn't feature any masks. There just wasn't a visual reason to include them, like wearing cat ears with a bear print.
