For me,BNHA cosplayers. My state hasn’t had a furry con for a decade I want to say, and now that we have one there are already 3 large bnha groups planning to go. There’s no fucking escape, every convention might as well be a bnha con at this rate.

Side note, there are so many times I have seen a cosplay that looks like absolute dogshit only to discover that it’s actually accurate to whatever obscure side character it’s based on. Aside from a few characters, BNHA cosplays just look ugly as sin, especially the color schemes.

While I don't disagree, my standards for younger cosplayers is pretty low. Their intention isn't so much as to make a perfect cosplay, but to have fun and geek out with their friends. Which yeah can get cringe, but having a weeb stage is basically a rite of passage.

They are sexless/genderless beings. They can "make an effort" for genitals if they wanted, but yeah they aren't made with specific uhh equipment. They get bodies, but they can change kinda change it to whatever they need. For example, Crowley is often see in both famale and male presentations. Aziraphale seems to just prefer a general man shape.

It sounds kinda Tumblry, but keep in mind the book was written in like the late 80s.

The TV series, which is actually a good adaptation, does give a visual that a lot of cosplayers base things on (and the cast is really spot on in my opinion), but 'word of god' has mentioned it's not absolute.

So to answer your question, uhhhh, it's complicated because they aren't human and are not bound by any sort of human rules on sex/gender etc.

If you're a fan of either author's works, I DO highly recommend watching the series though.

there are a shit-ton of gay jokes about those two in the books, some are pretty subtle and some are very much in-your-face
but anyway most of the jokes are pretty alright because the writing is alright

While there's been a fair few of these over the years -any yaoi anime attracting the most diruptive cosplayers for instance- the top ranker is still Deadpool, the majority of them thinking the character is a greencard for unacceptable behavior.

On that note, I've yet to meet a single Hetalia cosplayer who ain't absolute cancer.
