Looking through the thread, I'm wondering about the "harassment" and what constitutes harassment in some of the poster's minds. I think there are some things that need to be said here:
It used to be that harassment meant that someone is badgering or pestering you. Now the definition has become expanded to mean anything that another person doesn't like, especially something that makes that person "uncomfortable". This definition is way too broad and it's probably only a matter of time before it's changed to something more reasonable.
If a cosplayer has an issue with someone's behavior, they should really tell that someone to there face before going to the con organizers and complaining about that person. If you're having what appears to be an amicable conversation with a cosplayer, where they give no indication that there is any problem, but that cosplayer then runs to con staff to get you kicked out. I think you have a right to wonder what the problem is, especially when you didn't have a clue that there was any problem in the first place.
