I'm looking at these ones from American Duchess, the Colette Button Boots. They're cuter than anything OTF has put out, but I really need something that can stand up to walking a few miles across town in the rain (live in a very rainy country and I walk a lot). I might look into reenactment communities and look for more in-depth reviews there.

Thank you, this is incredibly helpful information. I am looking for durability, something I can repair and resole when needed. That being said, the AD shoes are so dainty and pretty. I'm so tempted to just buy both, and use the AD pair for fancy events, and the OTF ones for running around town.

Thanks! Yeah, it's hard to find goodyear stuff that's remotely lolita-appropriate. I think Fluevogs are, but most of their designs are kind of ugly imo. There are a few diamonds in the rough, though.
