/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

I didn't really take Cosplay all too seriously in a sense that I make it all on my own but don't just buy costumes off the internet. Instead I just looked in my closet and tried to match the character the best I can with what I had, helps to mostly be dressing as Tokusatsu characters so the outfits had to be feasible and presentable IRL, but I guess that's not a costume and well, an outfit.

With that out the way I want to start trying proper cosplay. I wanted to start with DFMD's Bandit since I liked how he played and I get an idea of how to do him. The yellow arm isnt really too much of a problem because it has a smaller form that isnt pictured here so I was gonna make that onto an arm guard and wear a sleeve under it, though I'm not sure if I could cut it up a little to match the art and still have the sleeve fit.
I'm not sure how to do the cloak and the horns. The gloves I was just gonna attach buckles onto fingerless gloves I already have and those shirt belts I was gonna make the ring part and put them onto luggage straps. I could make the horns but I just don't know how to get them onto my head. It's the cloak is where I dunno where to start. I don't have a sewing machine so I'm looking if I could find something close enough and find a way to make it work.
