For quite literally two decades, even before I knew that cosplay was a thing, I have wanted to cosplay only one character.

I tried, I honestly tried, to learn a bit about sewing. Life intervened and I ended up having to work 65 hour workweeks for two years shortly after I took up sewing and shot that down. I tried to find a professional who could make it for me, but every single person quoted me over 2.5 grand. I earn less than 30k a year takehome, I cannot afford it, period. Now I am 31, out of shape, and my hair on top has thinned out so badly I look like a pedophile if I grow it longer than an inch. I used to rock a six pack and have hair exactly like this character reaching down to my waist. Everything is darker in my life, and I feel like if I could just get back into shape, get a good wig, and do this one cosplay, it might, I dunno. Give me hope?
