I keep wondering why AP made the midnight and daydream colors for Dream Marine worldwide but not Misty Sky? I've had a discussion with a few people over this. There's some speculation that AP only wanted them to be exclusive to the Shanghai TP, but if that were true then why did Japan get a re-release of the midnight? There are so many WTBs on taobao for the daydream Misty Sky, so it's not like the demand isn't there. AP would make so much more money on the TP exclusive colors if they stopped wasting their breath on the other colorways. There's clearly a demand, and definitely not enough supply. Idk how AP aren't seeing it, especially with that scalper on fril wanting 189,500 yen for the daydream. The market is already over saturated with unwanted Misty Skies and Dream Marines in brilliant color, so who keeps thinking these re-releases are good ideas?
