So I think my post is best formatted as a three-parter.

Part 1: Is this coat too "Nazi"ish? I believe it is German from WWII, possibly Russian, but it appears not to be military, but rather civilian. But even though it may not be authentic military, I don't want to look too Nazi.

Part 2: Assuming I am basing the cosplay around the coat, what are some good places (online or walk-in) to pick up original and/or reproduction WWII clothing and accessories that look the part for a civilian on the Eastern front/Russia?

Part 3: Where can I find infographs or reference images of people, real or fictional, in civilian clothing from Russia other Eastern nations of the 1940's? I have watched several WWII movies and such and "Stalingrad" from 1993 is one that I think would fit my coat well.
