I had somehow not noticed that this thread was a thing before. Apparently that's some giant fucking sin around here.

If anyone can assist me I would appreciate it. Long hours of internet searches have not turned up what I was looking for. I'm looking for patterns for a vest similar in style to this. I like the lines on it and was planning to modify an existing plan to make something like it for a costume. If nobody knows where I can find the plans, then a tutorial for making my own plans would also be appreciated. I have not sewn much in my life, but i know some people who do a lot of this kind of stuff.

Can anyone link me to a pattern for a modern-style motorcycle vest or a tutorial for how to create a pattern? I'm a complete noob but I've had this idea in my head for a while.
