/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

I’m planning a Johnny Joestar cosplay, but with a purple/white/black color scheme, because I found out I look horrible in blue lipstick compared to purple lipstick. Making the outfit is pretty straight forwards except for the pants. Anyone got any ideas about what to do for these? They’re supposed to be some kind of comfy pants, not jeans. I was thinking about getting white pants, putting tape stars over them, then going to town with purple spray dye, hopefully revealing white stars when the tape stars are pulled off, but I’m worried about the dye bleeding under the tape and fucking it up. Should I just get purple joggers or something and sew/glue some kind of fabric stars to them instead?
