I'm feeling really fucking stupid, but what's the name of the tie in pic related? It's like a butterfly knot on black ribbon, except used in the place of a tie. I tried Googling "knit tie" but nothing relevant came up. It looks like it *might* be a string tie but the design isn't the same.

Kira's outfit is very distinct and the color of the suit and shirt are THE most defining aspects of his outfit. If you see someone turned around across the con in a light purple suit, you can basically bet it's a Kira cosplayer. Very iconic. I wouldn't try to pick alternative colors. Cosplay at it's core is about having enough confidence to wear weird shit out in public, a full suit in a slightly wacky color doesn't start to scratch the surface of it.
