>Little step sister just started high school yesterday
>life's been hard for her since her dad walked out on all of us three days before Christmas
>she calls me to come pick her up from school late
>can tell something happened
>she's crying her eyes out in the car
>tells me she walked into her home room class before the bell rang
>teacher yelled at her that she's not allowed in the classroom early
>she had no idea about this rule and tells him we just moved from another state and had no way of knowing
>"that's too bad. It's a write up, no excuses."
>she gets detention on her first day of school
>she's very shy and a good student, never had detention and she's devastated

I sent an email to her teacher, assistant principal, and principal. I couldn't go in today because of work, but if I don't get an apology before the weekend is out, I'm marching straight into that school Monday morning.
