If you honestly think /cgl/ is so much worse than other boards, why are you here?
No one *has* to come here or go into specific threads. It's not a right or an obligation. If you don't like it, stop coming here or going into whatever threads are bothering you. Or go be the positive change you want to see, rather than bitching here and expecting the rest of the board to cater to you.

I couldn't give two shits about this thread or half a dozen others on this board, so I don't go out of my way to see them or engage with them. If a thread I really enjoy starts to get derailed, I try to engage the regular posts rather than flinging my shit into the mix, too, which only serves to further derail the thread. If it's a troll/bait/rule breaking thread, I report and/or hide, not that difficult.

For what it's worth, using /cgl/ has been an overwhelmingly positive experience for me. I can get updated without fb, buy and sell, draw some cute dresses, discuss things openly, have some laughs, and just close the tab whenever things get annoying. You get out of it what you put in.
