I recently had a friend tell me that she'd like some lolita pieces to incorporate into her casual wardrobe. She knows a lot about the fashion, has a decent sense of aesthetics, and isn't planning to call it lolita or join a comm; she just wants a couple of pieces for her own wear.

The problem is, she's both tall and fat. She's 5'10, and her measurements are 39 bust, 38 waist. She knows it'll be hard for her to find brand that would fit, but she's listened to me whining too many times and wants burando, not custom fit taobao. We've been looking at Maxicimam, but she thinks most of their stuff is too tacky and old-school.

I'm guessing most classic brands are out of her reach, but I've seen major fattie-chans fit back-shirred AP and Meta before. Could my friend fit those? Or is she stuck with Maxicimam and full shirring?
