Has anyone ordered a seifuku from Bodyline here? I hear that the skirts are really short. I'm not too tall (5'4") or anything but I'm worried that the skirt of this seifuku is going to be too short on me. I've got average proportions and I'm not overweight or anything, so do you think a M would be too short? I want it to cover my ass and all that. Preferred length: mid/lower thigh.

I got this seifuku in purplewhich i bought from cosmates since it ended up being under 35 dollars with shipping and whatever deal they had going on and it just arrived today

Im a huge giant fatty but seeing that the sizes went up to 5L (even 6L on the cosmates site) I figured why not. I wanted to to wear around in my room when I was bored and wanted to play dress up, not really anything else.

check the measurements of the bust and waist yeah ok they're a little big but its better to be safer than sorry i guess.


it arrives I open it up and im thinking hey this looks pretty decent. color is really cute, the material is not so bad, maybe this wont be so terrible of a thing.

So I put it on and holy god is it the most hysterical thing ever. the zipper in the front is GOD AWFUL. it really looks terrible. Even if it fit me better I would still think it just looked hideous.

The skirt is such a joke, well, I thought it was a joke. The entire bottom half was sewn together. Now I dont know if pleats work that way, but what it did was create some bubble skirt looking shit. REALLY tight around the thighs (because it was sewn shut) and fit around the waist. I could not move my legs in this whatsoever.

my boobs were still cram packed in there like the tightest most deliciously plump sausage you've ever had in your life.

and everything was SO SHORT. Now maybe that was my mistake for not really reading/caring too much about the LENGTH of the top and skirt.


So there I stood. Super fatty, super tall, stuffed into this too-small-for-me seifuku that was meant for a 5'2" japanese schoolgirl.

I laughed and hulked into the mirror and laughed so hard as the sewn seams on the bottom of the skirt burst.
tl;dr tall n fat. stay away from these seifukus. and take all measurements!

Do they restock this costume often? I need it for a base for a cosplay I'll be wearing at a con in February.
