Being on 4chan for years and constantly battling trolls and derailed threads made me yearn for more focused and moderated online conversation. I moved on to Discord, FB Groups, Telegram, and Reddit.

It also turns out that through these apps you can actually meet REAL people in REAL life and do REAL things as well! Wow!
