I'm doing Zero Suit Samus, used a bunch of foam padding to get the feminine shape correct, I have some heels ready too to craft up a bit, but I honestly have no idea what to do about the gun.

Should I just buy a nerf gun and paint it? Should I try to ask someone to 3D print it or something?

I'm trying to keep my gun budget in the 20-30 dollar range so I doubt I can just buy a replica gun someone is selling.
