It's always particularly fun to deal with two middle aged Otaku (in every sense of the Japanese definition) where I live. They constantly plaster all over the local conventions wall (That is sci-fi oriented) to bring Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, or Morning Musumune to the con. Not to mention they always turn every conversation into a long rambly conversation about japan, including talking about how amazing and perfect Japan is, and we should all strive to be more like the Japanese.

A local girl has a small shop importing japanese fashion, and he likes to think she has some sort of crazy pull to bring big bands all because he was so generous to introduce her to a Japanese ambassador.
It's also hilarious to watch him go on rants about how high speed internet is a scam (his dial up is pretty fast! lol) and how HD anything is crap.
