I cosplayed Sadness from Inside Out at a local con and while there were lots of really cute kids getting excited and even a few adults there was one kid in particular that made me feel absolutely terrible.

>cheerleading con going on at same time
>keep running into soccer mom and her three kids
>every time they all just stare at me in silence
>waiting for friend outside of bathroom
>soccer mom goes in leaving her kids outside with me
>youngest couldn't have been any older than 6
>she turns around to whisper something to other two
>the oldest rolls her eyes
>"She's not even the real thing, she's just a person in a costume!"
>youngest now looks like someone just ran over her cat
>soccer mom comes out and herds her kids away from me
