Keep the prize tickets/tear them up. There's always that one guy who thinks he's clever who'll come back 2-3 times with the same ticket to keep getting free stuff.

Keep track of what you're giving away. I keep a separate box of 'egg prizes' under the table to pull from. Better for inventory.

Don't spend money on the prizes. Use deadstock or items that have been shelf-warming and taking up overhead. Use those C-grade enamel pins or charms that are printed a bit off-center.

Eggs are cheaper online. Orientaltrading.com is your friend for display supplies and buying 2000 eggs at a time.
