The issue isn't the fact there's non anime cosplay at anime cons but there's too much non anime cosplay at anime cons. Anime stuff should be the focus and it's gotten to the point where there's too much capeshit at anime cons and it affects the merchandise too. Last year there were a ass ton of funko pops which no body wanted.

Point being, make anime stuff the focus of anime cons and comic stuff the focus of comic cons. Simple as that. There should be little crossover.
