It encourages me to work harder and take my cosplays more seriously. I think I've gotten a lot better at making costumes because of /cgl/. The Seagulls I've met IRL have all been really cool. I've never gone to a meetup though, I was really kicking myself for missing the meet at the last con I went to.

There are a couple of threads I'm always in like Cringe and convention horror stories, I'm also guilty of perusing the cosplay asses threads...
