Repeating my question from last thread as it's a DD and ending in two days, an answer would be super appreciated.

Asked in DD thread, should probably ask here - what exactly are AP sample dresses? Were they test models/initial ones made? The dresses used on display in store? Ones used in shows? Also, is the quality any different than the regular release? One I'm looking at also has a care tag that says do not wash basically, can you not wash sample dresses?
