>Have to make it to the con on foot by myself.
>Stuff the mask + gore-covered plastic pipe into said namesake jacket
>Soon realize walking through the city in my bloodied outfit and appearing to 'hide' these items was giving me stranger looks from startled normies
>decide to just wear the mask and wield the pipe
>tfw you scare a few kids with your terrifying monkey mask
>mfw some cops had their eye on me as i entered a subway station.
>Approach the con and meet with my friend, i blend into her Ouran High School Host cosplaying group for the rest of the journey
>They attract more attention than i do, but at least don't look like a mass murderer is loose
>As we approach the con more and more obvious cosplayers can be seen, the heat is off.
