It is impossible to exactly copy fantasy races/creatures features, so its for the best to just ignore differences and appreciate the effort that has been made.

That is, if effort has been made. I don't think twice about a buff but polite barbarian, or a grumpy tall dwarf, but boy do I have to exercise a lot of tolerance for an unwashed fat elf who acts like a dark age peasant and cant run through woods for shit. I'm pretty judgmental against people who cant look or play the role, you need either in my book for it to be ok.

For instance, I played a villager after a foot surgery because I couldn't run or carry any weight and thus couldn't properly rp my mercenary role. Its not that hard to make things look good, its about everyone else's experience and not just your own.

Why didn't I think of that before, that solves a lot of issues and makes it practical to make one by yourself!
