Is there anything I can do, either before curing or after curing, that will get rid of overfill resin that comes over the bezel when I'm filling in a frame? I cleaned it up with wax paper/paper towels/toothpix as best I could while it was still wet, but even then it still seemed messy. The frame has lots of crevices that it snuck into and couldn't find a way to get it out.
Anyway I let it cure and even more flowed out now and I'm wondering how to get at least some of it off. Would sanding work? Any specific grain of sandpaper that would be best, or could I get away with just a nail file? And how can I prevent this from happening in the first place?

Sorry for all the qs. Here are some pieces I'm working on. The love potion bottle was a test for putting insertions in resin/layering/different colors in the same layer and I'm happy it came out roughly how I imagined!
