Had a similar experience. This was true.

Tried to explain my discomfort to the friends who had dragged me to the con. "Haha, what's that Anon? You don't like attention from women? Are you secretly gay? Cooooome ooooon, it's fun," was the reply.

Not even five minutes later, an extremely unattractive anime fan who smelled somewhat like tuna JUMPED and latched on to my arm. It would have been cute if it was a five year old doing it, but it nearly tore the joint apart. Before I could ask what the fuck they thought they were doing, I was defeaned by her shrieking "NYAH!". I mean actual pain, where you can feel your eardrum vibrating and it almost feels like grinding in your head.

Never again.
