Unanswered questions from the last thread:

Would it be possible to use the red maid dress pictured on the left to create the Maid Ichigo from TMM costume on the right? My plan is to use a matching fabric like: https://www.joann.com/symphony-broadcloth-solid-quilt-fabric/prd10006.html, to add the proper neckline, mandarin, and mandarin collar, then I would buy a white cotton fabric to sew on the white strip. The apron would be covering a majority of the awkward seam lines. If it works, it could save me a load of work in the process, but if the end result is going to look ugly, then it's not worth it. Should I sew my own from scratch or does this sound like a feasible plan?
