Also to add to this: I wear lolita/casual cute stuff and my ex-boyfriend really wanted me to start dressing in yoga pants/cropped hoodies just because he thought it looked more attractive.
I hate that kind of fashion and clothing is such a huge part of my life that I would never completely change the way I dress for someone else. I started wearing that kind of stuff at home occasionally just to make him happy, but it didn't make me happy at all.

Your gf sounded like she actually cared about her fashion, so suddenly trying convincing her of wearing something completely different that she doesn't like at all just to live vicariously through her is kinda selfish.
