I have a Scream mask that I'm trying to get nice dark eyes on and I'm having a little trouble. It came with REALLY thin fabric that you could see my eyes through so I replaced it with some darker polyester (think like a lightweight women's scarf). Unfortunately now the mask is MUCH less breathable as it seems like the new fabric doesn't let as much air through. It gets hotter and has condensation noticeably faster now. (The mask doesn't have a nose hole, only a little slit at the top of the mouth)
So now I'm second-guessing what to use to cover the eye holes. I've used tulle netting before but that still shows more than I'd like of the eyes and face underneath. I hear leggings suggested regularly, but I don't think I can stretch them out over the eye holes and I'm worried about it not being opaque enough.
Or is this just a problem I'll have to live with? Like "you can have easy breath-ability or opaque eyes but not both"
