I remember having one day where I had all round weird/kind of shitty experiences, but it doesn't happen too much in my city as I think people are mostly used to it by now?

>me, dressed as Dynasty Ahri from LoL
>walking with normie friends after the convention, just got some bubble tea and feeling good
>crossing at an intersection, random middle aged dude looks me up and down as we cross paths
>hear him ranting 'what's with all the fucking freaks in the city today?' to his wife
>not feeling as good anymore

Also on the same day on the way home-

>catching train back with friends
>used to getting stares in costume here and there, i understand people generally just want to check out what's going on
>notice this one dude who is staring at me nonstop
>getting kind of freaked out, sort of glance at him and indicate that i notice his staring, hoping he'll stop
>get fed up, turn my head fully and just stare straight back at him
>creepy dude literally just keeps staring me down, we hold eye contact for like 5-10 seconds before i stop because it's just too unsettling
>have to deal with him just staring me down until he gets off

Otherwise any negative experiences are generally just people staring, i've been lucky in that I never have people confronting me or anything. However, I have had some nice experiences!

>Browsing some cute shops after city's Jap Festival, dressed as Guild Marm from MH4U
>feeling pretty self conscious as the cosplay is pretty bright and I have a giant feather sticking out of my head, trying to keep to myself while looking at dresses
>Middle aged woman is browsing near me, comes up to me suddenly
>preparing to explain why i'm dressed like this to her
>'Oh, are you entering a cosplay competition?'
>Pleasant surprise, answer that I was just cosplaying for fun
>She talks to me for a little, saying how she's learned a bit about cosplay recently and how itneresting she thinks it is
>Compliments me and goes on her way
>Feel extra happy rest of the day
