/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

i'm pretty new to cosplay, and new to makeup in general as i don't really wear it at all in daily life, so i honestly don't know much about it. i guess i know the basics (mascara, eyeliner, concealer and foundation) but its pretty low level knowledge.

do you have any tips for doing makeup that looks good in photos? and tips on making your eyes pop in a way that doesnt look weird and crusty like pic related... never been a fan of the white eyeshadow in the corners/undereye look :/ but that seems to be a majority of all the tutorials i can find online. i am getting circle lenses though.

oh shit one last thing. do you think i should just go with my natural brows? theyre kinda thick and arched which looks good (to me) lmfao but i worry it might look jarring when im dressed as an anime girl.
