People just think it's cute, and possibly a bit silly considering the pancake mix bag that's a part of the collection which is also incredibly coveted. Sometimes certain pieces or prints suddenly gain popularity long after their sale time, and they become more coveted the less readily available it is. It's kinda funny to see considering the fact that HC was unpopular when it was released iirc.
