Has there been a established remedy, for the xof kats and their bump helmets?

I have the cvc liner
but I don't want to fork out the money to get a a ballistic shell.
and someone was talking about using one of these http://www.evike.com/products/25124/

do you guys know of any shells compatible with the cvc liner?
