/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

So far, the cons I've been to have been pretty close to where I live. Back when AkibaFest had its first run in LA, I was only about two or three hours by car. Kawaii Kon this year was literally half an hour drive.

I'm attending GacuCon (without cosplay cause of life matters) and that will likely be the longest I'll ever go for a Con, until Japan unfucks itself or something cool happens in Europe.

I think the numbness just comes with the territory whenever you spend a long enough time in a hobby. It happened to me with drawing, text RPs, YGO, and model building. Of course I'll always like those things and have fond memories of when they were new, but once you've explored most everything and found your niche, you start getting a little numb to it until the next new thing comes about.

Sorry about that, I really expected them to be on top of things on their website and not just social media. Asking for too much I guess.

How many finished coords did you all have before joining your first comm?

I'm poor as hell for plastic surgery but I guess it's never too late to save up
