just to add, if you can find socks or tights with a white base and subtle gold star pattern (moons or whatever) then it would really help to bring the gold in and balance it out. Would probably give it a cute otome type look overall too.

You may also want to consider trying incorporating silver instead of gold for a different look, say a silver bag and jewellery and then navy shoes with the white socks or tights.
