I'm doing my first cosplay this year and I'm black with dreads. You can't straighten dreads because they are locked the way they and dyeing hair can ruin your roots. My hair was short as fuck in 2019/2020 now it's going to my shoulders. Lots of hair and don't wanna cut it. Wigs are hard to put over top of hair that is locked in place. They're uncomfortable. It's so weird seeing people just saying you should cut hair for a cosplay. It's not that serious this shit is all for fun who gives a fuck? This is who I'm doing btw.
