this has ALWAYS been the case. there has always been a disconnect between what was in KERA/GLB streetsnaps and shoots and what people wore. it didn't ruin the sanctity of the fashion back then and its not destroying the fashion now.

The thread insists otherwise, but it has been stuck in one thread for a month. Lets face it, it isn't much of a -kei, it's just an temporary, aesthetic style like how Mode Gyaru was a thing for two seconds. Larme came from gyaru and amo style.

The shoots have always been OTT and unwearable looking, they are photoshoots. Japanese magazines are all just big catalogs for brands anyway.
