I do understand it, though. Most EGA is really meant to be worn by boyish women, not by men, and it tends to suit feminine builds and faces.

Personally, I'd say the best match for Gothic is probably something Visual Kei inspired, since that's where Gothic Lolita came from in the first place. If not that, some kind of stylized Victorian or Edwardian formal wear.

Bloodborne is a really cool idea too, though, and probably the best "costume" of the bunch. Maybe it'd make sense to tone down the raggedness of it. I think Dishonored might be a good source of inspiration too.
