sewing and crafting threads are kill, came here to ask about this. ive got a chink repro of a singer pixie plus to work with, and i am trying to see if my machine is good enough to take cotton twill pants in and out at the waist. over thinner bits i can stitch in the ditch just fine, but this is what happens if i go over where the fabric is folded back in on itself at the thicker parts. is this a thread tension issue, or am i pushing the limits of a cheap machine?
