For the goths of the thread, Voltaire actually has a series about decor and the like. It was actually mentioned here once. I'm not even a goth myself (my room could probably fit in happily in these threads in the "FUCK, THE BRIGHTNESS BURNS MY EYES" department) but I do love me some good old-fashioned "giant dark vampire castle on the cliffside swarming with bats and other spooky things" kinds of aesthetics.

I would assume that some of these people just do their sewing/work in another room, like an office or a study space. Though I'm not sure how that works in small Japanese apartments and the like... Maybe they just have a "cute corner" where its clean and they sleep there and the rest of the room is a mess.

There's also looking into storage solutions/"lifehacks" to try and organize your space better to make it look nicer. It'd also make it easier for you to find stuff at the snap of your fingers. Get some nice shelves, cute-ify it with some lace and heck, maybe even some stickers or some custom painted-on designs if you're brave/artistic enough.

I don't have any tips myself but since they're so popular finding a few articles on good organization ideas couldn't really be hard to find, right? (Honestly I just kind of shove all my stuff into drawers until I deal with it all at a later date so I'm not the person to ask about that stuff lol)
