/cgl/ - Cosplay & EGL

So I bought pic related on a whim while I was out with a makeup savvy work friend who dragged me into ulta for the first time. I've basically been using it as eyeliner but it flakes after like twenty minutes. What the hell am I doing wrong?
I am literally a makeup retard, I've only ever used black eyeliner and recently found a very mild lipstick (or maybe a stain or something) I like.
I also bought a knock off chocolate palette but fuck me huge palettes are some advanced level shit I was not prepared for. How do chicks do this?!
