How does /cgl/ deal with deformaties, body issues, scars, etc. when it comes to cosplay and lolita? Do you have to specially tailor your outfits or make certain adjustments? How does this affect your hobby?

Just curious, I haven't seen a thread like this in a while.

What's the word on Chicago? I'm coming to Anime Midwest from out of state for the Baby the Stars Shine Bright tea party. Who is cool and who should I avoid? I can't think of any famous lolitas that live there.

What do you guys think of the Chicago community's lolita timeline posts? Some are terrific but many are just embarrassing.

I mentioned in the confession thread my comm is filled with itas, but what I didn't mention is even the members who have been there awhile aren't really that great with coords. Everyone is kind of "eh" tier and I want to critique but I don't want to come off as the bitchy new girl. It doesn't help everyone is pretty nice.

>Will you be participating?
Nope

>Favorite wardrobe posted last year?
I don't remember but there were some good ones.

>What did you add to your wardrobe this year?
Best thing I got was an old dream dress for a bargain on the sales comm.

>Wardrobe resolutions for 2014?
Get some goddamn blouses and accessories so I can actually wear my clothes. I have like 15 main pieces but I can barely scrape together 4 or 5 outfits because my wardrobe is so unbalanced. I just buy all the pretty dresses and neglect the basics. I have stuff in my closet with the tags still attached.
I just ordered another OP too, ugh...Heeeelp!

Look, this isn't your personal blog. You're having everyone spoon feed you where to buy what. Most of these reference pictures you apparently have never seem are often posted in the SnK generals. It's good to ask one of two basic questions on /cgl/ but for the amount of help you're requesting, you're better off going on another site like coscom or something.

Learn how to do the research yourself and find things on your own. You're barely even asking for help with sewing. Newness isn't something to be embarrassed by but it's gotten to the point where we're holding your hand.
