Pretty much how you dome anything else. A small amount of resin dripped down and spread. Should work as long as you don't have to many small bits.

I went on Sunday and almost every shop had just craft store grade satin ribbon. I did lick out and find a few decent rolls of better quality ribbon. The far right one is silk ribbon and the other three are a cotton based. I managed to find the brands online so I can order them in other colors.
